REGISTER HOUSE GOLF CLUB – ROYAL MUSSELBURGH
THURSDAY 16th JULY 2020.
After the cancellation of our first four scheduled outings RHGC was delighted to finally kick off its season at Royal Musselburgh with members playing for the David Bryce Trophy.
On a warm blustery day the course was found to be in excellent condition and was very well attended with 24 players taking part. The club was delighted to welcome new members Val Reid and Esther Jardine along and it was great to see Stevie Arnott, Derek Hand and Harry Murray back and hopefully everyone enjoyed the day.
Playing a stableford format Harry Coats was the winner of the David Bryce Trophy with an impressive 37 pts. The runner on the day just one point behind was Norman Maclachlan.
The winning tri-am team was Alan Rees, Dave Simpson and Colin Mackie with 45 pts.
The ball nearest the holes winners were: – :

14th – Dave Simpson
16th – Normnan Maclachlan
2’s on the day were recorded by Dave Simpson and Norman Maclachlan.
Closest to the hole in 2 at the 18th hole was won by Thomas Grant.
The next outing will be held at West Linton Golf Club on Friday 7th August and is a one round pm competition with details to follow soon.
