The July outing was held at Deer Park on Friday 5th July 2019.
After a gap of 16 years RHGC returned to Deer Golf and Country Club for its July outing. Having hosted a number of Tartan Tour events, the Peter Allis and Dave Thomas designed Deer Park proved a stiff test of Golf in the blustery and at times wet conditions and this was reflected in the scoring on the day.
Cameron Boath won the Jim Meldrum Cup courtesy of a better inward half score, with a 92 less 17 for a net 75. Richard Torrance finished 2nd with an 89 less 14 also for a net 75.
Best Scratch score on the day was Jim Gordon with an 86 beating Colin Mackie and Duncan Rae also courtesy of a better inward half score.

Closest to the hole in 2 at the 18th hole was won by Jim Gordon.
The tri-am competition was won by Cameron Boath, Jim Gordon & Colin Mackie with a score of 68
The next outing will be held at Mortonhall Golf Club on Friday 2nd August and is a one round afternoon competition.
